Known for its reflecting pools, the caverns are named for the Cherokee Indian Chief Sequoyah and can be seen on one of a number of tours. Located in the far northeastern corner of Alabama, the caverns are isolated in the lush wooded landscape which now holds many scenic walking and hiking trails. In addition to the caverns, the historic Ellis Homestead is located on site, as is a campground for overnight guests.
